Hey Everyone! I haven’t posted in a few days… so I decided that since it’s 7:25 on a Monday night, I would make a short-but-sweet post on my lovely new tumblr. :)

I just wanted to talk today about my fitness and health. And, I know that that sounds totally boring and stupid, but my eyes have completely been opened, metaphorically. Now that the semester has begun, (well it began a while back, but with all the snow, the 3rd sem. feels fairly new…) I now have gym, rather than health. My gym teacher has been making us run for 4-5 minutes around the gym, running at a speed in between a jog and a sprint. Not bad right? Wrong. I kept up with my track-runner friend, and by the end I wasn’t totally on the verge of puking, but I felt pretty overworked. My mile-time is usually a 7:56 at the best. And, I am really not a running-sporty girl. I play plenty of sports, but I don’t really feel that I am as passionate as some of my friends. And, if say, I ran for 4 minutes, I would have to run twice that much for the mile, and now that lacrosse season is coming, more. So, I have decided to actually construct a workout plan. I always told myself, “tomorrow I will run ____ miles, lift ___ lbs, do ____ minutes of yoga”, but the biggest thing I learned from The Biggest Loser coach, Gillian, was start TODAY, not Tomorrow. So today when I came back from school, I skipped doing homework first like I always do, got in a cute workout outfit, (well cute as a workout outfit can be…..) and ran out the door with my mom’s ipod nano. My ipod is an Ipod Touch, but I lost the arm strap… I felt totally accomplished when I walked back through the door 25 minutes later, refreshed, panting, and sweaty. (Lovely picture… right? haha) I ran for only 25 minutes, but I already found that after I showered, and got back into my daytime clothes, that I felt my legs tightening and feeling sore. And this was pretty encouraging to me.
And okay, why the heck would you guys ever care about any of this?? It’s just kind of an encouraging new plan, and new start for me over 2010. Although this is more of a resolution, and everyone knows those should be made in late december ‘09, early January, I feel that now is better than never.

Intro to HelloKatyxo
Hey There everyone! It’s Katy, or as most of you know me, “HelloKatyxo” from www.youtube.com/hellokatyxo.
I had a fashion blog a longggg while back, and my friend from school told me I should start it back up again. Blogger is kind of outdated now, so I moved on to the lovely, and very easy, “Tumblr”.
I will try to blog everyday, but that promise may or may not be broken. I think I will really love tumblr, because when I grow up, my dream is to move to NYC and be an editor of a fashion magazine. I don’t know if that path of mine will ever be traveled upon, but I can at least dream! :)
